i have a label of which i want to change the mousepointer property to "hand" exactly like one which is used in winXP for hyperlinks...

Though i found a icon under windows>cursors>harrow.cur... but that one appears big+ugly and is not exactly the same as used by MS office for hyperlinks...

Does oneone of you knows how to get it?

There are a number of icons b eginning with h that might suit, the best looking like hnodrop.cur. Do a Windows search on h*.cur.

harrow.cur looks better.

Hi irresistible, welcome to VBAX :hi:

Bob, I'm not sure he liked that cursor (Although I do agree it looks better than hnodrop.cur):

Though i found a icon under windows>cursors>harrow.cur... but that one appears big+ugly and is not exactly the same as used by MS office for hyperlinks...
I spent like 2 hours last night looking for the "Link Select" cursor...and couldn't find it anywhere. :dunno

For some reason, I have a feeling it has to do with Internet Explorer...but I'm not sure.

I've been searching my pc and here's what i've found
to view it in Windows XP...
You'll need HTML Help Workshop, downloadable from Microsoft.

Right-click blank area of Desktop
Properties
Desktop Tab
Customize Desktop
Change Icon
Browse
"C:\Program Files\HTML Help Workshop\flash.exe"

I was just thinking about this.

irresistible, did you figure it out?

I was thinking if anyone knows if there's an API or something that will tell you the cursor image is and file location? I think that could really help.

An API for SetSystemCursor:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/ms648395.aspx
Maybe use it on a mouseover event then change back on
mouseout?...
