Hello all

Is there a way to find all true type fonts in a document and replace the with a font of my choice? I know I can find and replace based on the fonts name, but I don't know how do that based on the font type.

any ideas

What would you replace them with? A non-True Type font? Why are wanting to do this?

Do you have True Type fonts embedded? The default is to have them NOT embedded.

I don't know of a way to identify a font as being True Type or not. Other than the name. But then...I don't have a single non True Type font, so I can't really test and see.

We use postscript fonts, and true type fonts causes us problems at the RIPs. I would like to find these fonts and replace them with a postscript font. I guess I could make an array of our PS fonts and if the font doesn't match one on the list, replace it. I just wanted to know if there was another way.

Thanks
Russ

For the time being...I don't think so.
