Recorded Macro Lost

Helps needed!!!!

Background: Had recorded a no. of MACRO in my Excel.

"C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART\PERSONAL.XLS"

Due to some prob. faced, had created a new Profile of Log In to network. Hence, the old folder was renamed as "username_bk" and a new one was created.

Problem: After log in under the new profile, all my previously recorded MACRO in my PERSONAL.xls sheet is not found!!!!!

Question: Is there anyway for me to retrieve the old PERSONAL.xls???

You could talk to your IT department. The file is likely still there, you just don't have access to the old folder.

If you still have access all the old data, just copy PERSONAL.XLS from where it now is to where you want it to be in the new folder. There is nothing very special about it; Excel will open it automatically because of where it is, not what it is.
