Hi,

how can i put a comma and two decimal places in a concatenated named range and string? pls refer to the attach file.. thanks..

Hey gnod,

Try using the Text function:

="This is to authorized your bank to debit the amount of Php " & TEXT(TotalAmount,"#,##0.00") & " from current account number:"

I wonder how the function I used is called. (See attachment.) In Hungarian Excel, it is called "FIX", and by the look at the parameters it's a different function from TEXT.
So just that you have an alternative solution. :)

In USA Excel, we have FIXED too. Cool, I didn't know about that function :) Thanks JimmyTheHand :thumb
