Jake's KB will save Outlook e-mails to the hard drive. Given that, if you set Outlook up to receive your other account e-mails, you would be able to save them to the hard drive.

DRJ's KB (http://vbaexpress.com/kb/getarticle.php?kb_id=875)

Since VBA is native to the microsoft Office array of products, transferring the mail to Outlook, and using Jake's KB entry seems the best bet for using VBA.

Err...in Outlook, under Accounts you can add the account, but you need the server info...let me look into it. I don't feed my other accounts into Outlook, but I know it can be done.

I heard it is really easy with Thunderbird (Mozilla), butI don't use that either and it wouldn't work with VBA either!

See what I can find out and shout back.

G-mail POP instructions (http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13278&topic=1556)

The link will take you to a page to configure G-mail to Outlook 2003. There are links for other Outlook versions as well. You should be able to find the right one if you look through it a bit. There is a search utility in the upper right corner.

Yahoo info (http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/pop-11.html)

Hotmail Info (http://ask-leo.com/what_are_msn_hotmails_pop3_and_smtp_settings_for_outlook_express.html)

Hotmail free accounts are apparently an issue with POP/SMTP downloading. I'll see if I can dig anything else up.

Update: Check this out (http://www.emailaddressmanager.com/tips/mail-settings.html), it may be of some help to you.

I think that server info is a default property. I can not change that textbox. Also i do not know the server info?

By the way, i do not know Thunderbird alternative. Actually Outlook is better for me because i can use VBA with Outlook.

Thank you XLGibbbs to your genuine relevance... :cloud9:

I do not think I have ever been called "Genuinely relevant" before...Thanks!

Thunderbird is Mozilla ( Firefox browser..) email program. I have heard about it, but not tried it. I use Outlook 2007 now.

I use Thunderbird Portable, off a USB stick, for reading the MS newsgroups. It's good for that use, as you can take it with you, unlike Outlook Express. It's functional, but to me leaves a lot to be desired for bells & whistles.

I use Outlook 2007 for my own stuff, which is quite a rich UI. At work we use Novell's Groupwise 6.5, which is also quite powerful. :)
