Solved: view/page break preview

I go to view/ page break preview and then close the window. Another window( excel main window) will stay open. How to see the sheets again?

view normal is not active in that case.

I'm not surprised if you close the window?????? What does that mean " and then close the window"

I closed the inner window only.

Sounds like you closed the workbook you were working on and left excel running...If all you have is a grey screen under the toobars then this is probably the case....you should have gone back to view-normal instead of closing the "inner window"

If your at that point and need the file opened again use file-open or file-new.....
