show answer to other cell

is there a way to show answer to other cell?
i want to type to a cell this:
12+5=
and show to next sell the answer

Select a cell, asay B1, and got to names, Ctrl-F3

Add a name of EVAL, and a refersto value of =EVALUATE(A1)

In A1 use, 12+5, not the =

In B1, =EVAL

what name should i add?
in B1 cell i will type =eval ?

No, select a cell, let us SAY B1, and add the name as I showed. We are selecting B1 because the name is referring to A1, that is one cell to the left, so wherever you use EVAL it will pick up the value in the cell to its left. So, in H5, it will pick up theexpression in G5.
