View Full Version : Relative Reference
Hello,
I want to record a macro, but the Relative Reference doesn't show up. How can I make it show up.
Thank you for your help.

Try resetting the Stop Recording toolbar
Restore original settings for buttons, commands, or toolbars
You can rearrange and modify toolbar buttons, menus, and menu commands by using the mouse or you can use the Rearrange Commands dialog box which is accessible using a keyboard menu. These tasks are identified as (keyboard accessible).

On the Tools menu, click Customize, and then click the Toolbars tab.
In the Toolbars box, click the name of the toolbar you want to restore.
Click Reset.
Hello mdmackillop,
Would you please detail the name of toolbar which should be restored to make the Relative Reference box shows up for recording a macro.
Thank you very much for your help.

It will only show up when the recorder is started, otherwise you will not see it,
I started to record but no Relative Reference box showing up. So, I could not keep on. I don't know how to make it show up.
Thanks!

No, you need to start the recorder, gotoTools>Customize>Toolbars, and the Stop Recorder button will be there, check it and exit.
Hello xld,
Thank you very much. I have got the Relative Reference box back.
Thanks again.
