View Full Version : Solved: Macro Recorder doesn't do Animations?

Does the PP2003 macro recorder record custom animation actions?

I tried recording the custom animation I wanted for some objects so that I could generalize it, but all I got in the resulting macro was the Selects, nothing about the animation parameters.

I was hoping to avoid plowing through the object model, since the AminationSettings object is more complex than most of the others

Is there a workaround?

Thanks, Paul

I'm afraid there are no workaround for this.:(

You have to dig into the AminationSettings object which is the
most complex part of the object model.

Darn, I was hoping I was missing something :mkay

Follow up question then -- Is there a way to apply the same animation settings to each object on more than one slide at a time if I have to do it manually?

You cant record animation settings in 2003. To code animations you need to use the timeline and mainsequence objects in XP and later which is not simple!

There is an addin though from Shyam Pillai - its not free but there is a 15 day trial
