Hello

alright, here's the entire situation....

I have a two sheets that are linked. the first sheet has all of the data inputed, the second sheet is just a few columns copied from the first to view a snapshot of the first sheet.

essentially, i want to use the second sheet (the snapshots) to be my data for a pivot table. the thing is that the pivot table needs to have a set range with no blank spaces or formulas (right?)... so what i need is for the second sheet to be "dynamic" where as information is inputed to first sheet, another row is added and filled per the formulas copied from the preivous row. (that means that my pivot table/chart will by dynamic as well--that's another post i guess)

how do i do this? i've already created dynamic named ranges but they wont work. I'll go the first sheet and enter information, then go to the second sheet expecting to find that info...but there's nothing there! no row has been added!

I'm attaching sample data...thanks for taking a look

help!

ps...please let me know how you got it to work so that i can copy it to the actual data.

In your example, On Items Rows 34 and 36 have no values in Col A and B.

Is that intentional and is your data really like that?
