Hi All,

I am formatting generated Word docs from DOORS database. I want to do the following:
1. Insert two footers - Date and Page number on the left and right hand sides. I am able to do anyone of them but I want to know how can I do both.
2. Identify the bulleted/numbered lists by code in the doc and then apply specific formatting for them. For the norma paragraphs and headings, I am able to do it.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

1. There is only one footer.

Date and Page number are fields, and you can have them repeated if you like - left side / right side. This is simply a format question. Still ONE footer though.

2. Ummm. Use a style.

Under File>Page Setup>Layout Tab there is a check box for different headers and footers for odd/even pages. When this is checked and you go to the header and footer, the box outlining these areas has odd or even in the label.

Still, there is only one header/footer per page but you can do something unique for odds and evens.

Thanks for the tips. I'll explore the Styles possibility to identify the bulleted items.
