import .pst files

1.exported .pst file from my remote machine connected to US exchange server to my remote disk drive in a shared folder,then tried to access .pst file by importing to my local machine connected to local exchange server,it was coming as normal task form with that task id in subject.so how do i solve this problem.plz suggest any clue/idea/solution to overcome this problem.
