Office loads very slowly after new Yahoo installation

Perhaps this isn't the place, but: H*E*L*P!!
My modem burned up, was replaced with newer and faster service. Yahoo tech help talked me through installation, including removing MANY programs that loaded upon turning computer on. Now, when I TRY to access(!) any OFFICE application the computer hangs up for several minutes...then the application does appear!

Including 2 years worth of ACCESS development!
Anybody help???

Remvoving un-needed start-up programs usually helps speed things up - so that's not necessarily bad... However, something may have been removed from the registry, or your HD may be very fragmented after removing all the junk. I suggest you run defrag, see if it helps - if not, reinstall Office.
