A useful tool for developers I just found for Windows. When you right-click a file, you can obtain the full directory path of the file, extension included :thumb
For multiple files the paths are separated by a semi-colon.

Don't know if anybody already knew about this...but if not, enjoy! :)

Why not just show the full path in the explorer window?

Why not just show the full path in the explorer window?
How do you show the full paths of files from the explorer? How do you get multiple file paths at the same time from the explorer?

It just saves the extra steps Bob....

in order to copy a file or a folder's path you had to manually copy the folder path from the Windows Explorer (or Command Prompt) window, and then manually add the file's name

No extra steps, you set the folder options to show the full path.

Tools>Folder Options>View>Display the full path in the title bar.

As to multiples, if they are in the same folder, the path is the same. If they are not, why on earth would you want to?

Yeah, that's fine for folders...but what about files themselves?

Also, for searches you can copy the paths of multiple files in different locations.

Why? Sometimes I use it for testing purposes while developing. It probably has some good oddball uses.

Tools>Folder Options>View>Display the full path in the title bar.

The file name is not included in either the title bar or the address bar....that's the difference...not really a big deal. Just handy.
