Importing text to columns

Is there a way to iimport a file and format it text to columns with VBA?

Hi Austen.

Absolutely! Try recording a macro to do just that. It's probably the easiest way to do it, as the import uses some pretty funky Array methods for each column. Not too hard to work with once you get used to it, but it can be pretty intimidating the first time.:yes

I still start by recording the import, and then tweaking it from there.
