hallo,

I have to copy some data from 1 workbook to a other workbook. That works fine.

But how can you activate a form in the other workbook?

I also have to copy a value in to a textbox in the workbook. How do you fill in that textbox in the other workbook?

thus some one know how you can do that???
best regards,

Sls

Not sure how to do it via menu,,
but you can create a file called personal.xls (like Normal.dot in word) put the macro/form in it.
then save it in the path

'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\XLStart\Personal.xls'

This will create a Global macro, available in all workbooks.

i might add this is for 2000 (which makes me behind the times)

I am guessing you also want to access the data without actually opening the other workbook, well im not sure of that, but i know it can be done.

cheers

Create a little macro in the other workbook that shows the form, then use Application.Run to run that macro.

Maybe, but it is very debatable that either XP or 2003 warranted the outlay to upgrade.
