Hi all,

I Know a little bit of VBA. Today I was learnt how to add a custom menu to word & for testing i recorded a macro using the "save as" command and added a menu to a new word document. Later I closed the file without saving the macro. But now, I dont know how, that menu(not macro) has been added to normal.dot and is being displayed in each & every word doc. I am not being able to delete the same. I will be very greatful if anybody can help me.
(My OS is windows XP and office 2002)

Thanx in advance

Sridevi

Hi sridevi :hi:

welcome to VBA Express.
to delete custom menu follow this steps (not in VBA)
Open Word
Click tools Menu
2nd Last item is Customize... click that one
there u can see 3 tab Toolbars, Commands, Options
then click Toolbars tab
there u can see list of all toolbars
now if u have added custom toolbar u can delete it from there

& as u r telling u had added custom menu then just select that menu or item & drag it on your document area & drop it to delete.
or right click on that item & select delete.
