:help HELP! :banghead:

Please, please, someone give me hope.

I've spent a couple of weeks now, off and on, creating a database project. Went to open the thing this morning to get a Microsoft Office Access 'popup' window stating "No current record", despite it closing normally when last in there.

Clicking on 'OK' brings the popup up again, a second 'OK' click drops me back to an open Access application but not the project.

I seem unable to gain access into my db project at all !!! :dunno

Is there a means of getting around this that is aluding me for the moment?

Try holding down the "Shift" key while opening the database.

Thanks for the tip, but it makes no difference.:(

Have you Compacted & Repaired the Database?
You could also try creating a blank database and "Importing everything in to it from the "problem" database.

Neither option works, already attempted both. In each case it simply defaults to the 'No current record' popup.

Hi,

1. Have you put any userform in the startup of the data base...?
2. Are you using Reports in the data base...?
3. Are you using any VBA which fires when the data base is opened...?

If any of the above are yes, please explain a bit how they are being used..would help to troubleshoot your problem.

Also have a look at:

Thanks for your input asingh, but it's a 'No' to all three questions. The database simply opens into the main switchboard.
