"Better", I mean to say if the results in Column H ("Balance Gain") can be arrived with a single formula.

here is the formula
use when your loss amt is negative
type this in Cell H5
=D5+(D5*$E$10/$D$10)

use this when u write loss in absolute terms (possitive)
type this in Cell H5
=D5-(D5*$E$10/$D$10)
