Error message

I have the following error box pop up during procedure.

"The Changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again"

Is there a way to capture this error and advise the user in more direct terms of what the problem is in another message box?

You can trap the error number and replace it's description with your own description.
Or you can check that it is a duplicate before trying to save the data.
