Help Adding a constant text to a numeric cell

Excel 2003 and I just completed a 2 day class but I am stumped. I am trying to write code to add a text (SF-300) to a column of 3 digit numbers starting from 100-999. Can someone help me . I know if I get started I can do it to other columns I have.

Enter the above formula, change A1 to suite. Do a fill down.

That could work but you'd lose use of the numbers.
Go to format cells custom and then enter something like #" SF-300"
include the quotes !!!
