Yes, I did it. I uninstalled my Visual Studios 2005 (SE). I hadn't used it in a while and it just took up sooo much space. So I got a wild hair one day and axed it. Now I miss it! :(
Do you think I should reinstall it?

I voted no way! Stick to your guns....heck you might need that space for something important :devil2:

Thats a tough choice, vs2005 versus "adult entertainment" ... you could always compromise and install vs6 and delete half your stash?
Honestly though, hard drive space isn't that expensive (says the guy with no children, also the guy who hasn't bought a hard drive in 5 years)

Zack et al,
During the years I've seen a lot computers where a great number of softwares are installed "just in case" by the users. Since "just in case" situations rarely exist then the best approach is simple to not install all these softwares. If installed then uninstall them (no matter to the size of available diskspace) and move on.
:Thinkingothat the average Office-Developer (except for the group of Outlook developers) the following cover 99 % of their needs:
Windows XP or Vista
Office 2000 or 2003 (where Outlook is used as the e-mail client)
User Account to the business system
AV-software
The remaining 1% may include access to SQL Server et al and/or VB6/C++.
How much TB does the above really require:biggrinro
Kind regards,
Dennis

A few months is a little while. I enjoy the program and do tinker with it. But with it sitting there for a few months untouched, and me hurting for HD space, I uninstalled. I'm really missing it now and am trying to convince myself the HD space is worth the install. Maybe I just need a new HD. LOL!

I have this one. I've had it for about 6 months and love it. And it's cheap!
