Hello,

I have a Word-template with form fields defined.
When I tested it i remarked that the filling-in of the form fields can affect the layout of the whole document.
Can some one tell me how to prevent that my document looks like a mess ?

Thanks for any reply.

Can you post a sample of the offending form. Apart from overwriting or displacing a section break I can't think of what would wreck your layout.

thanks for your reply.
this is the document.
The document lay-out is affected when the user fills up the fields and use the line-feed 'enter-key'.
Also on the line with "ceiling" the date is often set on the line below.
Is it possible to prevent those things ?

I strongly suggest putting the entire document in a table, with each formfield in a separate cell.

As Jorzech says, use tables instead.

As shown in the attached example, set the row height to EXACTLY the height you don't want to exceed. Instead of using tabs to space items out across a row, split the row into columns, as shown.
