Dear all,

someone pointed out the following:

In cell A1 enter =850*77.2 which yields 65.620

In cell A2 enter =850*77.1 which yields 100.000

Any explanations for that?!

Best,

Wolfgang

Doesn't look like it to me. Seems to be more to do with trying to represent 77.1 in binary, and then using that to multiply, and then render it back.

For instance, =85*771 works fine.

The fact that it is word, all bits set, looks suspicious too.

But one thing is for sure, it is abug.
