word and equation editor

I have programmed in various languages and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to insert an equation into word automatically using a macro. For example, using equation editor I can insert integrals and various other mathematical objects. Does anyone know how I can write a macro to create an equation and then insert it automatically into the document. Thanks

I don't think you can. The equation object doesn't appear to have any exposed interface to VBA.
