Send Newest Record to the Top - (Newbie)

Hi,

I am very new to MS Access and am attempting to design a database for scanning serial numbers in an inventory location. I notice that my form sends the newest record below the previous record. Is there a way that this can be inverted so that the newest record is always on top, and all previous records stay in order below?

If you are using a Query to provide your Form with it's data then you can set the order of the records in that, either by using the Index Key field or an entry Date ( &Time if time is logged as well)
