I've recently joined this site as well.

But...

...I can't see where they have their BB Codes or whatever else. There's nothing immediately obvious. Anyone that can tell me?

Hi Stewart,

Not quite sure what you mean by BB codes (my ignorance shining through again), but ..

T-T is a bit different from most fora in that it is a bespoke system largely programmed by one man. Once upon a time that might have been a strength but I'm not so certain about it these days. In many ways I like Tek Tips, but it doesn't have (by design) a lot of the features of, say, vBulletin. It has no WYSIWYG editor and no capacity to edit posts and all you can really do is post and format using their in-house tag language (obviously similar to both HTML and the codes used here and elsewhere) called TGML - click on the Process TGML link below the posting box to see details of it.

That sounds like it. There's no explanations really so that's why I've not foun dit - TGML. Ok.

Incidentally, BB Code is the forum's formatting equivalent to

If you preview a post there is a bit of explanation below the preview box which might have guided you but I agree it's not immediately obvious. I will mention it to their management.
