Hoping someone can help here :banghead:
I have a pivot table that is linked to an external data source (overwhich I have no control)
The fields contained in the pivot include
Product Detail
Revenue in US$
Units Sold
What I want to do is two fold - the first I have managed to acheive via calculated fields
1. Establish the average selling price for each product and show that as one of the measures in the pivot table - Revenue/shipments works as a calc'd field
2. Knowing the price of all items I would like to group the products in price bands - such as $1 to 10 - $10 to 25 - $21 to 50 and $50 plus - that's where I am stuck and hope someone can point out what I am missing
Is it possible to create such a banding group in a pivot tablle - everything I try gives me an 'Unable to group on ths data' or similar message
Thanks in advance for any assistance
