setting Auto correct

I have deselected every auto-format, auto-correct, auto-spell,.. auto-anything and still I get ugly wavy lines under my friend's names. Is there a way to turn that OFF? If not, can I change the color to make it a wavy White line?

Its nothing to do with AutoCorrect; its spellchecking.

Tools > Options > Spelling and Grammar tab is where you'll find the options - in particular you probably want to uncheck "check spelling as you type".
