Position picture at top of page

Hi,

I don't know if this is actually a programming question, but I thought if anyone would know the answer you guys would.

Word hates it if you try and position a picture at the top of a page when there is no text above it, and I have to spend ages playing around to actually getteh image to stay where I want it. Is there a setting I can change or a bit of code or infact anyway to get word to actually leave my image where I put it?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by top of page but you can specify an absolute position relative to the page

Format > Picture > Layout tab > Advanced button > Picture Position tab

That is greyed out if the picture is an InlineShape.

If you change the picture to other than the default (in line with text), then the picture is changed to a Shape.
