cell cursor

Is there a way to get rid of the cell cursor (the cell you're on)? I am using the sheet as a background for a dialog box and don't want it there.

You could select a cell out of view then scroll the window back up? E.g.:
activesheet.range("B50").activate
activewindow.LargeScroll ,true
