I'm trying to create a link to a MS Access database file using the WRKGRP command-line argument in Outlook. The link doesn't work. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to get the link to open the database using the workgroup file associated with it. When I create the link without using the workgroup command-line argument, it opens fine. Like this:
file://"N:\DbaseFiles\SCC_Dbase.mdb"
But when I include the WRKGRP argument it doesn't do anything. Like this:
file://"N:\DbaseFiles\SCC_Dbase.mdb" /WRKGRP "N:\DbaseFiles\CSS_Issues.mdw" (file://)
I've searched the Access World Forum for this and posted this question there but no one has had any answers. One person told me to use the single quotes inside of the double quotes but that didn't work either.
