Hi,
I had to restore Win XP on my machine and had to then restore spreadsheets containging macros from my backups.
The xls files restore OK (I'm using Office 2007) but when I try to run open an xls file which previously ran the macro which displayed a user form I now get the message
"This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and any other programmability-related features."
I've also tried opening the file on another machine running Offfice 2003 and get a similar message - although all the code is available on the 2003 Excel VB editor - which it isn't in Office 2007. It seems to me the user form has been lost somehow.
I'm surprised that this has happened as I thjought all components were stored with the sheet.
Any ideas on how to get this working again ?
Thanks,
Geoff
