View Full Version : Floating toolbars Word 2003 in Word 2007 won't work

As far as I've been able to find on the net : IMPOSSIBLE, WON'T WORK IN WORD 2007....
Floating toolbars, made in word 2003 cannot be imported into word 2007 in a working state. They simply won't work.
Has anyone been able to find an answer to this problem -or- has anyone experienced the same problem ?

The new UI does not allow for floating toolbars. This is absolutely by design - it is not a problem with a solution; you just have to learn a new way of working.

You only lose convenience, not functionality. The contents of the toolbars should appear on the addins tab of the ribbon.

I was afraid that might be the case.
