I came across this recently and thought some people here might find it useful. It is a free service for tracking your credit score, similar to your FICO score, but uses a different proprietary method for getting a score (which will be different than your FICO).
The scores will be different but you can check frequently and see a pattern if the score goes up or down. If it goes way down you would want to get your credit report to see what is happening and make sure there are no fraudulent accounts.
This is in beta right now, you can sign up here:
https://www.creditkarma.com/code/UR0M5X (https://www.creditkarma.com/code/UR0M5X)
You may need to put in a code to sign up, if so enter UR0M5X and it should let you in.
Looks interesting, it is free but you get offers / targetted ads while on the site for credit cards, CDs etc. A good trade off I think.
