Alternate row colours within a Listbox

Is it possible for alternate row colours to be available within a Listbox?

I don't think it comes naturally. If it is possible, it would anticipate it being quite complex. I don't know for sure as I have never worked out how, never had a reason, but I feel it probably is too hard to warrant the effort.

Well, there goes my only reason to convert the world to a 367 day year....

What I'm looking for is a way to turn a bland listbox, whose purpose is to list a monthly financial statement into to something a little more interesting. Some people might call it eye candy. I perfer to call it more "professional" design.

Are there any other options?
