Hi,

Is there a way either in Word or through code that allows the printing of comments, but not hidden text?

Or, because they are interlinked is this not possible?

Thanks, Mark

To print only comments, click Print on the File menu. In the Print what box, click Comments.

The comments will be printed in a separate sheet sequentially

What interlinking do you think there is?

And what, exactly, do you want to print? Comments? Comments in hidden text? Hidden comments? Just comments? Comments and text? etc., etc,

When you tick Comments in the Print Options dialog, it automatically ticks the hidden text as well.

I want to just print Comments with the document, but none of the hidden text in the document.

This is in Word 2000.

OK. Yes, I see what you mean in Word 2000.

There are two different option settings and I don't believe there is any tie up behind the scenes so you should be able to do:

Options.PrintComments=True
Options.PrintHiddenText=False
