Is there any exposure to a company if we are implementing code from a public forum into a business process? I believe my recollection is that if it is open source and public that basically an agreement exists bewteen the person who writes the code and anyone who uses it.

Is there any exposure to the company if you implement it across a department...? and it is used in a process that makes money for the business?

Thank you in advance for the input!

Respectfully,

Scott

If it's open source then its' not a problem. Just make sure there are no licensing agreements in the TOS that say anything about 'if used for internal use then you must do the following blah blah blah'
