I don't know how to do all of this. I posted a new post earlier and it has an envelop symbol next to it instead of the the "VBA" symbol like all the other posts. So I was trying something different to see if I would get a different result but it didn't. Now I tried to delete this post and I can't??? Can someone help me understand all of this?

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the reply. Actually right after I changed my post I answered my own question. The symbols located just right of the posts on the forums page are different if your logged in and viewing your own post vs. viewing your posts when your not logged on. I hope I am making sense. My other question is, how do you delete your post if you change your mind or answer your own question right after you post?

Thanks,
Duane

Hi Duane,

You don't. We prefer not to have posts deleted, as it can make things really confusing later on.

What I would suggest is to post something like:

" I figured it out. Doing X solved my issue."

And then mark your thread solved. (See tip in my sig). And don't worry about it, it's happened to all of us! :yes

Oh! And Welcome to VBAX! :hi:

Cheers!
