I have a report that is rather long and I run out of room. Most of the websites I have looked at say the fix for this is adding groups and placing them as footers. While this allows me to extend my report to the needed length. All the text fields truncate the data that is linked to the field.

Does anyone have a real solution to 1) allowing the text fields to hold more text when it is placed in a group footer/header? 2) Keep the text fields in the detail section and make the report longer without the grouping?

in design view of the report size the text field and it's header to aproprate length by draging and pulling , then just toggle back and forth between design view and form view

If that doesn't workk, they only thing I can think of is just exptort your report to excel

I ended up just creating an additional subreport based on the same query. For some reason in the headers and footers Access limits your text field from what I can tell.
