Hi,

I'm working on a problem :banghead: and need your help. I?d like to display custom messages via the office assistant without VBA when certain cells are selected. For instance, if cell B2 is active, the office assistant would pops up a callout box containing a message like:

1 = insignificant
2 = minor
3 = moderate
4 = major
5 = critical

Guys,

I've sorted out this question. The old data validation provides a quick solution. Select the cell, input the message in data validation's input message tab. Turn on the office assistant and the message pops ups.
