I don't know the other two, but 2nd my vote for pennysaver!

Pennysaver i have had few good chats to and is on OzGrid now and then, Dave is there to.
OzGrid has MSMVP post there to some Jacks friends but did you know also VBAExpress has MSMVP post here too?
Jack

What about WillR? He has been great at OzGrid.
Anne Troy
06-01-2004, 02:57 PM
I don't know what you mean, shades. Is WillR a Microsoft MVP?
JackInTheUK
06-01-2004, 03:05 PM
No WillR is not MSMVP - other buddys are from the UK big meet Seatle just gone funny few names of buddies there - none as ugly as Jack thou!
Jack
Zack Barresse
06-01-2004, 03:25 PM
nope, WillR is an OzGrid MVP, and moderator. just as the MrExcel MVP (Most Valuable Poster) may not necessarily be a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional.
regardless, they are all welcome here! we appreciate their support!
Anne Troy
06-01-2004, 03:31 PM
Right. We're probably going to use "Reputations" here...
WillR
06-01-2004, 03:59 PM
Hey :hi: - I bin here for a good week!
I am far too raw to be MSMVP - I just helps out where I can :)
BTW... Shades, I have been a member for a while & have posted code... but I wasn't on Anne's list so am happy to raid my own fridge :bawl
Anne Troy

ROFL!!
No worries, WillR!
Those are just people I'm waiting for, but am afraid that by the time they show up, I won't notice! We've had about a half dozen people join today...
WillR

No it's cool to see the site attracting some great talent.... word spreads fast & what surprises me is the apparent closeness of the "Office" community... excellent.. I hope to be spending more time here once we iron a few bugs out at Ozgrid... :) !!

You guys let me know if I can help...I keep trying to tell Dave. ;)

Well Anne,
I recognise the first three on the list, and they would certainly be great assets to the site if they were to post here. The trouble is, Bill and Dave are both so busy that they rarely post to their own sites (especially Bill), let alone elsewhere - good for them, not so good for the forums! ;)
How high are we aiming with this list? How about :
John Walkenbach
Stephen Bullen
John Green
Rob Bovey
Robert Rosenberg
Of course, we already have some MSMVPs registered here in the form of Andy Pope, Colo, and JPG.
People who I would like to see here (in addition to the considerable talent that is already here!) are :
Tushar Mehta : I have learnt such a huge amount from Tushar just by reading his posts at MrExcel. He doesn't just provide code solutions, he gives invaluable tips on how we should structure our code.
http://www.tushar-mehta.com/
Nimrod (MrExcel) : The guy who showed me the error of my ways when I was having trouble with my first VBA routine!
Derk (OzGrid) : An excellent all-rounder.

Geetesh Bajij is also a member, and an MS PowerPoint MVP. :)
As for Mutt and Jeff...er...I mean Bill and Dave, well, they'd better make an appearance just because they love me. Hee hee. Actually, I showed Dave our testing arcade. He joined so he could play. So now he's a member in our testing database, but not here.:rofl
The rest? We can only sit here and drool about the thought of it.

Another few guys that have helped me out with queries in the past
Bob Umlas
Aladin Akyurek
Andrew Poulsom
Cheers

I'm not a fan of grouping people by their various MVP status - for example Smorgur is the equal of any one that I've seen and AFAIK he doesn't have any "accreditation"

FP! Your link doesn't work. You can type it like this:
(url=http://nigellee.info)Text to Display(/url)
And just replace the parentheses with brackets.
But somehow, the way it is now, your link doesn't work.

Thanks.
It's because I've enclosed it in square parenthesis, and the HTML parser has add the closing brace "]" to the URL.
I've taken your advice below...
(url=http://nigellee.info)http://NigelLee.info(/url)

Hi FP! :)
Just do it like this w/o the quotes
"["url=http://yourdomain.com/index.htm"]"Pretty text here will display as hyperlink"["/url"]"
fanpages
06-17-2004, 12:51 AM
Thanks Zack... here goes (without the quotes, but this time with square braces, not regular parenthesis as DreamBoat suggested):
