I need to know who wants to do Access and/or Word side work.

This is NOT working for me. I'll refer the client(s) directly to you.

Please email me.

(Steve, I got you already.)

This is a good opportunity for you youngsters who might want to make some money on the side. The company Anne sent me was a legal outfit trying to get an abstract looking professional.

What you will run into is people using Word who know very little about the program so you will spend some time showing them little things that you take for granted.....just an example, one person I dealt with didn't know how to preview their document before printing. Another was when they wanted to add a row to a table they right clicked and inserted a new table.........man...

I set an hourly rate with them before starting that I thought might discourage them but it didn't, in fact we have about finished the first document with 14+ hours and they are now asking me to help them develope a letterhead template and make it look professional. I think that last part is important......they are having trouble making them look professional and it is just because they don't understand how word works.

The document I received had one large table and a border around it. It had several sections divided by roman numerals. They were having trouble keeping the data together because part would remain on one page and part would go to the next page and it looked shabby. I just broke the table into parts, one for each section. Took off the borders on the sides and a few other things. Added some code to create a table of contents automatically, macro's to format lines as main or sub headings in the table of contents or omit them completely......userform on doc new to add customers name to headers, etc......

These are nice business people who need your skills and are willing to pay fairly for them. If you're interested and want to know more pm me.

ps. I can only tell you about my experience. Anne would be the contact person for you to get started.
