Hi i was wondering if someone could help me. This might sound like a stupid question. Is there a way you can extend an underline formfield.

What i have here is, when you click insert form field the value may appear as so:

909001

what i want is something like this

____909001______

I know this might seem stupid question but the display is important for my overall macro result

Yes, but extend how far?

Would the underline be shorter if the number is shorter?

____909001______

____909______

OR.....

____909_________

BIG difference!

Define your terms.

In any case, the answer is to use, as all Word document should use,....Styles.

If the Style of the paragraph the formfield is in is underlined, then...it is underlined.

If your underline....ummm...chunk...is a paragraph (containing a formfield), then you can define its length within the Style.
