Hi Everyone,

I have Unique Problem in Excel Date formating i have excel file which is two date formats in it for ex m/d/yyyy h:mm(5/21/2008 7:43:00 PM), few cells show me this format 23/05/2008 07:42:13(General)in the same row. Iam not able to convert this in to m/d/yyyy h:mm i have tried change the format in many ways nothing worksouts.

Is there any Macro or any way where i can change the format 23/05/2008 07:42:13(General) to m/d/yyyy h:mm.

This would be great if anybody can get it done.

All the best

Just select column A, Data>Text To Columns, pick deleimited, Next, clear all checks, and Finish. That should change all the formats, then you just need to format column C.

Hi, I found the solution for the Problem.

This Problem was due to Regional Settings in control paneld i changed the date format to dd/MM/yyyy now the caluction happens and iam able to change the format of the cells. Its unique problem becasue excel calcuates date based on your regional settings.
