Hi Guys,
I am having some trouble using excel to login to a website and submit a file. To go through the process manually the following steps are taken-

1) I create and format the document
2) I login to the secure website
3) I navigate to the submission page
4) I choose the relevant radio buttons and then i select the file using a browse dialog
5) I then click submit and that's it

I have seen earlier posts and i have come across some excellent and relevant posts. However most examples enter a user name and password into a form. In my case i have to enter my user name and password into a popup (the same type of popup you get tryin to access a secure folder or router). Any ideas how i would do this?

Secondly, how would i select the file using the browse dialog on the webpage?

Kind Regards,
Conor

Can you supply us with more information please? Have you contacted the web sites admin re this issue? Perhaps a snapshot of the screen you are seeing?

http://www.wellesley.edu/Computing/FileSharing/Windows/acc2kxp_imgs/xpconnect.jpgAn example of a similar login is shown in the example. For the browse dialog the normal file explorer opens.

When i say "go through the process manually" i mean do it without the use of a macro

Can OLE automation be used to enter the login and password?
