I need to be able to enable inking ( Drawing) through a macro this is for a fujisu touch screen (lifebook). I can do this through send keys but this will not work in my scenario as i am using this document in a container inside a application (SAP) .

In 2003 i could do this by accessing the menu through my VBA but this does not work in 2007. When i record a macro in 2003 i can see the menu selection bu in 2007 i can't see this (ribbons i am guesing is the problem )

So how do i call menu items in 2007 or start the inking functionality in a macro?

Thanks

Hi & Welcome to VBAX rik! :hi:

I know a lot about Word but the term inking in relation to Word doesn't ring any bells over here. (and the term Drawing is a big area in Word)

In other words can you:
a. Describe the steps in Word 2003 you use to reach the wanted functionality
b. Provide the code your using now todo what you want

Then we can try to access that functionality directly.
