I've tried changing the tab browsing options, but when I click to another area within this site, the page is added as a new item on the taskbar, not as a tabbed sheet. am I missing something? :dunno

I use tabbed browsing all the time, it's great. What you need to do is right click a link, then select "Open Link in New Tab".

I've been using an IE plugin called CrazyBrowser which does it by default, so I never looked for a menu item.
