Solved: Compile error in hidden module: distMon

Hello Experts,

somehow my excel problems like to gather on Friday afternoon ...:banghead:

I have a complex spreadsheet that works just fine with excel 2000-2003, but when I open it in the new animal excel-2007, I have the warning:

Compile error in hidden module: distMon

I saw a couples of information on google but I don't know how to follow the limited instruction on how to fix it. Someone please land a helping hand -- I would greatly appreciate it !!!

Does your code use FileSearch?

Hi xld,

Not quite sure about your question about code search, but I recently did this and the error msg has gone:

Go to C:/program files/microsoft office/office11/xlstart
and delete the "pdfmaker.xla" file there.

It seems to fix my problem.
