I was wondering, while I'm inviting people to come to the forum and they're all being so nice about it and not acting like it's a pain in the butt...

We're a very nice, nice group of people, aren't we? I suppose it goes along with our desire to help people that we're less likely to have ax murderers among us.

There are very few people that I've met on free technical support forums that are anything less than nice and professional. And sometimes, the respect with which they treat others just downright confounds me when I see the way they are sometimes treated.

For all the times you posted an answer and never got a reply; for all the times you posted an answer and got a flat "thanks":

THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY PANCREAS!

PacMania: Be careful.

People who complain around here end up with a title and responsibility!

I'll look at the style sheet again.

I've found out that I really like the coloursettings here. :thumb

Perhaps it's best explained that I'm colour-blind :D

During the years I have come to the conclusion that by providing regular answers to a wide range of Excel-related questions it keeps my knowledge & skillness in the front and I?m able to keep up with the developing-pace.

So I say thanks to all the people who have asked interesting and challening questions for the last 12 years :yes

The best knowledge is the one that is public and shared on forums. In that way we all can learn from each other and that's the true spirit of the net. :thumb

Pls let us all keep the board as friendly as possible :thumb

Kind regards,
Dennis

I like happy friendly forums - they inspire me to work harder for the members :type - so this will hopefully be a place where I can work hard at helping out as I have done for Dave H... (well that's my story & I'm sticking to it :rofl )

OH!

Do a search for penguin.jpg or penguin.gif at google. It's a great way to search for pics. If you get one, we'll upload it as your avatar or whatever.

'cause I need all the help I can get !! :help

Oh, and for those who don't know me yet - I'm here for the comic relief (just wait until you see my questions!! )

Sure, Lori!

When they see your questions, they'll groan. You often stump me!
But it's great to see you here.

Funny thing is, that this thread was started very early on, and is ancient in terms of the age of the board (less than 2 weeks old), and nobody held admin or mod positions! LOL

Don't be surprised... people know when they see a quality product.

BTW, thanks to all of you for your help other boards over the past two years. Great to see the experts come together here.

Lori, I am the old, slow, and confused one, so I usually can't offer much either; but I do pick up crumbs as they fall from the masters' tables. Might good too!! :hi

Good to see you too. I was confused by your change in handles. (NOTE: It doesn't take much to confuse an old person. Now where is my cane? Or is it my walker? Must be a Texas Walker - or is it a Ranger?)
